You can cancel your SimplyScapes subscription at any time directly from your account. This article will walk you through the cancellation process and what to expect.
Before you cancel
Important things to know:
- Canceling stops future charges, but you'll retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period
- Cancellation does not automatically issue a refund for your current billing period
- Your designs, projects, and data will remain saved in your account
- You can reactivate your subscription at any time by logging back in and subscribing again
If your latest payment failed: You'll need to resolve the payment issue before you can cancel.
How to cancel your subscription
Follow the following steps to cancel your subscription
- Go to simplyscapes.com and log in with your credentials.
- Click on your Workspace in the upper-left corner of the window.
- Navigate to "Billing"
- Click "Manage subscriptions". This will navigate you the Stripe billing portal.
- Click "Cancel subscription"
- (optional) Choose a reason for cancelling.
- Click "Continue to cancellation"
- Click "Cancel subscription"
What happens after I cancel?
Immediate effects
- No future charges will be made to your payment method
- You'll still have full access to your subscription features until the end of your current billing period
At the end of your billing period
- Your account will revert to a Free plan (if available)
- You'll lose access to premium features
- Your designs, projects, and data will remain in your account
- You can still log in and view your work
If you have a failed payment
If you're canceling because a payment failed, please note:
- Our payment processor (Stripe) may still attempt to collect the failed payment through automatic retries
- These retry attempts are for charges that occurred before cancellation
- To avoid this, resolve the failed payment before canceling, or contact our support team

Can I get a refund?
Canceling your subscription does not automatically issue a refund. However, you may be eligible for a refund in certain circumstances:
- You were charged incorrectly (e.g., multiple charges for the same period)
- Technical issues prevented you from using the service
- You canceled within the subscription renewal window
For refund requests, please contact our support team with:
- Your invoice number
- Reason for the refund request
- Any relevant details
