How do I delete a design element?
Remove any plant, object, or element from your landscape design canvas with the trash icon or Delete key, and undo instantly if you change your mind.
You can remove any design element from your canvas.
Trying to delete a plant and nothing happens when you click it? Then it isn't an element on the canvas — it's part of your background photo or an AI-generated image. Those are removed a different way: see Remove a plant or item from a design.
- Select the item you wish to delete from the design
- Click on the red trash can icon that appears in the bottom left corner of the canvas. Alternatively, press the "Delete" (DEL) key on your computer keyboard
- The selected item will be deleted from the canvas
Undo deleted items
Accidentally deleted something? Use the undo button in the bottom left corner of the canvas or press Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac) to restore it.
