How do I export and save my Visual Design as a PDF?
Export your landscape design as a client-ready PDF proposal with a cover page, a QR code linking to the live design, and a full plant list with detail pages.
You can export your design as a professional PDF to save it to your device, print it, or share it with a client. The PDF is built as a client-ready proposal, so it looks good the moment you hand it over.
What's in the PDF
Every PDF export includes:
- A cover page. A clean first page that leads with your design, ready to put in front of a client.
- A QR code that links back to your design. Anyone you share the PDF with can scan the code to open the live design in their browser.
- A full plant list. Every plant you used, gathered in one place.
- A detail page for each plant. Each plant gets its own page with its picture and details, so the person reading the proposal knows exactly what's going in the ground.
Step-by-step instructions
- Click the Share button in the top right corner of the canvas (the down-arrow icon)
- In the menu that opens, click "Export as PDF"
- Your PDF is generated with the cover page, QR code, and full plant list
- Choose to view the PDF right in your browser or download it to your device

Other formats
The Share menu can also save your design as an image. Alongside PDF, you can export as a JPG (a standard image file that's easy to email or drop into a document).
Tips
- The QR code always points back to your live design, so a client can open the real thing and explore it, not just a flat picture.
- The plant detail pages make the PDF easy to hand to a landscaper or take to a garden center. Everything they need to source your plants is in one document.
- Prefer a quick picture instead of a full proposal? See Save as Image to grab just the design shot.
