How do I resize items on the canvas?

You can resize any design element to fit your layout by dragging its selection handles.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Click on the item you'd like to resize.
2. A selection box appears around the item, with dots on each corner and bars in the center of each side.
3. Click and drag a corner dot to enlarge or shrink the item while maintaining its original proportions.
4. When you're finished resizing, click on any blank area of the canvas or press the Esc key on your keyboard to deselect the item.

You can also resize the selected item using the vertical slider in the right corner.  This method is especially helpful for touch devices.

Alternative Method: Drag top or sides to stretch the selected item

Drag the side handles to stretch the item horizontally or vertically.
