How do I move an item on the canvas

You can reposition any design element on your canvas using one of two methods.

Method 1: Drag and drop

1. Click on the item you want to move.
2. Drag the item to your desired location.
3. When you're finished, click on any blank area of the canvas or press the Esc key on your keyboard to deselect the item.

Note: This method is disabled for items created with the Draw tool and Clone tool to prevent accidental movement. Use Method 2 to move these items.

Method 2: Use the move cursor

1. Click on the item you want to move.
2. When selected, a move cursor (four-sided arrow) appears beneath the item.
3. Click and hold the move cursor, then drag the item to your desired location.
4. When you're finished, click on any blank area of the canvas or press the Esc key on your keyboard to deselect the item.
