How do I navigate the dashboard?

The SimplyScapes dashboard is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. Here's what you'll find and how to use it:

Top Bar

• Visual Designer / Aerial Designer tabs - Toggle between design types
• Search (top right) - Click the magnifier icon to open the "Search everything" box. As you type, results appear grouped by Visual Designs, Takeoffs, and (on Professional workspaces) Clients. Click any result to jump straight to it.
• Create Design button (top right) - Start a new Visual Design

Left Navigation Panel

Shows different sections depending on your workspace type:

• Workspace Selector (top left) - Switch between workspaces or access workspace settings
• Designs - All workspaces
• Takeoffs (Beta) - Professional workspaces only, for measuring a property and estimating materials
• Clients - Professional workspaces only, for keeping track of who each design is for
• Manage people - Professional workspaces, shown to workspace admins. Opens the People area (see below)

The People Area

Professional workspaces include a People area where a workspace admin can see everyone who belongs to the workspace. It lists each person's name, their role, when they were last active, who invited them, and when they were invited. You'll find it under Manage people in the sidebar, or under Settings > People. Main Content Area

Displays your designs in either:

• Grid view - Visual cards showing design previews
• List view - Table format with sortable columns

View Controls

• View toggle (upper area of the content) - Switch between grid view and list view
• Sort dropdown - Order designs by Name, Date Created, or Last Modified. Your choice is remembered the next time you visit.

Navigation tips

• Click any design card or row to open and edit it
• Use search to quickly find a specific design, Takeoff, or client
• Hover over a design card to see additional options (three dots menu)
