AI styles and templates

The AI tab comes with a library of design styles, and each style holds a set of AI Templates. Together they're the quickest way to a great-looking result: pick a style, pick a template, and generate. No writing required.

Styles and templates, explained

• Design styles are looks and moods, like modern, cottage, desert, tropical, or clean and minimal. A style sets the overall feel: the kinds of plants, materials, and finishing touches that fit together.
• AI Templates live inside a style. Each template is a specific, ready-made take on that style that AI applies to your photo. Choosing a template is like choosing a starting look off the shelf.

We keep expanding this library over time, so you'll see more styles and templates as it grows.

Using styles and templates

1. Open the AI tab in the Visual Designer.
2. Browse the design styles and pick one that suits your space.
3. Choose a template inside that style.
4. Generate, then compare the result with your original photo.
5. Not quite right? Try a different template, pick another style, or switch to a custom prompt.

Prefer to describe it yourself?

Templates are the fastest path, but you're never locked into them. Write your own prompt any time, or start from a template and refine it with a prompt. See Generate a design for both paths.

Tips

• Match the style to the space. A style that suits the climate and setting in your photo produces the most believable results.
• Try a few templates. Since results vary, sampling two or three in a style often surfaces a stronger option.
• Combine a template with a prompt. Start from a template for the overall look, then add a short prompt to adjust the details.
