How do I add team members?
Add teammates to a Professional workspace so your team shares the same designs, clients, and settings. Learn about roles, the People area, and per-user billing.
If you run a Professional workspace, you can bring teammates in so everyone works from the same designs, clients, and settings. Everyone in the workspace is listed in the People area.
Team members are a Professional feature. Personal (Homeowner) workspaces are built for one person, so they don't include team members.
Adding a teammate
A self-serve way to invite people from the People area is coming soon. In the meantime, we're happy to add users for you.
To add someone to your workspace, reach out to our support team and let us know who you'd like to add. Each additional user is billed at the standard per-user rate, prorated for the rest of your current billing period.
Finding the People area
You'll need to be a workspace admin to see it.
- Open the Professional workspace you want to manage.
- In the sidebar, click "Manage people". You can also reach it under Settings > People.
- The People area lists everyone in the workspace, along with their role, when they were last active, who invited them, and when they joined.
Roles
Each person in a Professional workspace has a role:
- Owner. The person who created the workspace. Has full control, including billing. Every workspace has one owner.
- Members. Everyone else added to the workspace. They can work in the workspace's designs and clients.
A few things to know
- Team members are scoped to a single workspace. If you have more than one workspace, you add people to each one separately.
- Each workspace has its own plan and billing, so adding teammates to one workspace doesn't change another.

How do I update my workspace settings?
Update your SimplyScapes workspace settings in a few clicks. Rename your workspace and adjust its preferences from the Settings page, then save your changes.
