How do I access Takeoffs from the dashboard?
Find and open Takeoffs from your SimplyScapes dashboard in a few clicks, plus how to upgrade to Professional if the option is missing.
Takeoffs are available on Professional workspaces from the main dashboard.
To open Takeoffs
- From your dashboard, look at the left navigation panel
- Click "Takeoffs (Beta)"
- Your Takeoffs list opens, showing all of your measurement projects
Don't see Takeoffs? Upgrade to Professional
Takeoffs are a Professional feature, so they only appear on Professional workspaces. This is the most common reason the option is missing.
To use Takeoffs, upgrade the workspace to Professional:
- Click your workspace name in the upper-left corner of the dashboard
- Go to "Billing"
- Choose the Professional plan and follow the prompts to upgrade
Once the upgrade goes through, refresh the page and "Takeoffs (Beta)" will appear in the left navigation.
If you're a homeowner and only need to design a yard, you may not need Professional. Takeoffs are built for landscape professionals measuring properties and building estimates. See Homeowner vs Professional workspaces to compare.
If you're on Professional but still don't see Takeoffs
- Double check you're in the Professional workspace (use the workspace switcher in the upper-left corner, since you may belong to more than one workspace)
- Refresh the page
- If it's still missing, contact our support team and we'll help
From your Takeoffs list, you can
- View all of your existing Takeoffs
- Create a new Takeoff
- Open and edit an existing Takeoff
- Duplicate or delete Takeoffs
- Switch between grid and table views, and sort by name or date
