How do I export a site plan?
Share a site plan with clients or teammates in seconds by copying a public link, or download it as a high-quality SVG image to print or keep.
Once you've measured a property, you can share your site plan with a client or teammate, or download a copy to keep.
The Site Planner is available on Professional workspaces. See How do I access the Site Planner from the dashboard?.
Where to find the export options
- Open the site plan you want to share
- Click the Share button in the top toolbar (the down-arrow icon)
- Choose an option from the menu
Share a link
Copy public link puts a shareable link to the site plan on your clipboard. Paste it into an email or message, and the link opens the site plan to view. This is the quickest way to share.
Download the site plan
Export as SVG downloads the site plan as an image file to your device. The file saves with the site plan's name (for example, 123 Main St.svg).
An SVG is a high-quality image that stays sharp at any size, so it's a good format for printing or dropping into other design software. Most computers can open it in a web browser or an image viewer.
Tips
- Give your site plan a clear name before exporting so the downloaded file is easy to find
- If you need to send a site plan to a client who doesn't use SimplyScapes, the public link is usually the simplest option
