How do I change my email address?

Change the email on your SimplyScapes account without losing your designs. Contact support to update it, plus what to do if you lost access to the old inbox.

Right now, changing the email address on your SimplyScapes account isn't something you can do yourself from settings. Your email is also how you sign in (we send your 6-digit login code to it), so it's tied closely to your account. We know this is a common request and it's on our list to make self-serve in a future update.

If you still have access to your current email

The quickest path is to email us at support@simplyscapes.com from your current address and tell us the new email you'd like to use. We can update it for you so your designs, workspaces, and subscription all stay on the same account. Sending the request from the current address helps us confirm it's really you.

If you've lost access to your current email

If you can no longer receive mail at the address on your account, don't create a brand-new account just yet. Contact support@simplyscapes.com, tell us the old email and the new one you'd like, and we'll help you move over so you don't lose your work. The self-serve workaround (a fresh account)

If you'd rather not wait for support, you can create a new SimplyScapes account with your preferred email. A few things to know before you do:

Before you start a new account

  • Designs and workspace data don't transfer between accounts on their own, so you'd need to recreate them
  • Export any designs you want to keep (for example, as PDFs or images) from the old account first
  • A paid subscription stays tied to your original email, so cancel it on the old account before it renews

For most people, having support move your existing account is the easier option, since it keeps everything you've already made.
