Job details

The job details panel holds the facts about a landscape project — property, client, status, and dates — in one place alongside whichever tab you're working in.

Coming soon

Jobs is rolling out gradually and isn't switched on for every account yet. It's enabled workspace by workspace during the rollout, so you may not see Jobs in your left navigation — that's expected, and nothing is wrong with your workspace.

Want early access, or have thoughts on what you read here? Get in touch. We're actively looking for feedback from landscape pros while we build this, and it genuinely shapes what ships.

Some things about a job apply no matter which tab you're on: who it's for, where it is, and where it stands. Those live in the Job details panel, which opens alongside your work rather than replacing it.

What's in it

  • Name — what you call this project
  • Client — who it's for (professional workspaces)
  • Property — the address the work happens at
  • Status — where the job stands, see Job statuses
  • Dates — when you expect things to happen

Panels stay with the job

Open the details panel on the Design tab, switch to Build, and it's still there. The panels belong to the job, not to a particular tab, so you don't lose your place when you move between stages.

You can open more than one panel at a time if your screen has room for it.

Tips

  • Fill in the property address properly even if you know the place by heart. It's what the site plan uses to find the aerial view
  • The job name is free text — use whatever you'd actually say on the phone
