Track where a landscape project stands, mark work won or lost, and record why deals don't go ahead so you can see patterns over time.

Jobs is rolling out gradually and isn't switched on for every account yet. It's enabled workspace by workspace during the rollout, so you may not see Jobs in your left navigation — that's expected, and nothing is wrong with your workspace.

A job's status says where it stands. Statuses do two things at once: they track progress, and they record the outcome of the work you bid for.
The stages
Statuses are grouped into six kinds:

|---|---|
| Lead | An opportunity you haven't won yet |
| Won | The client said yes |
| Active | Work is underway |
| Complete | The work is finished |
| Lost | The client went elsewhere, or didn't proceed |
| Cancelled | Called off — by either side |
Your workspace comes with a sensible set of statuses already in place, and an admin can rename them to match how your business actually talks. The six kinds underneath stay the same, which is what keeps reporting consistent even when the words differ.
Changing a status
Click the status on the job and choose a new one.
Marking a job won or lost
Won and lost are the two that matter most, so they're deliberately easy to reach rather than buried among everything else.
When you mark a job lost, you'll be asked why. That's the one extra step, and it's the one that pays off: those reasons feed the Why we lose report, so after a few months you can see whether you're losing on price, on timing, or to a specific competitor.
Reopening a job
Clients change their minds. If a lost job comes back, move it to an active status and it picks up where it left off — the photos, designs, and history are all still there.
Tips
- Be honest with loss reasons. A report built on "other" tells you nothing
- Cancelled and lost aren't the same thing. Lost means you didn't win it; cancelled means it was called off after

Use the jobs list to find any project fast — switch between list and thumbnail views, group by status or client, and see how your pipeline is doing at a glance.
